Concrete Floor Sawing – Technical Information
Our experienced operatives are fully trained to provide expert concrete floor sawing to meet with your design plans. With a range of sizes of diameter of high-quality diamond blades available in our store, we can provide concrete floor sawing to the depth you require up to 500mm. Using diamond blades ensures a clean cut with minimal time and delay to the rest of your site works. These large diamond blades are attached to a shaft which is part of a robust push along machine. So whether you are fitting out a new warehouse and require cuts in the concrete floor to slot in cables or fix new racking or you are working externally and require concrete floor sawing for roadways, carriages and bridges, we have the equipment to complete the job.
How is your concrete floor sawing equipment fuelled?
You might be surprised how often we get asked how our machine is fuelled. This is an important question as it very much depends on the location of the site and whether the concrete floor sawing is taking place internally or externally. At National Drilling Services our equipment can be powered by 3 phase electric, petrol or diesel to suit the site situation and environment as well as the availability of power. For internal concrete floor sawing operations, we would usually choose to use the machine on the 3 phase electric mode, as this is better for enclosed areas as no fumes are released. However, for external concrete floor sawing, especially on roads, carriageways or bridges where we might be a long way from a power source and there is less risk from fumes, we would select the petrol or diesel option.
