Methods of concrete drilling
At National Drilling Services we use two methods of concrete drilling. These are Diamond Core Drilling and Tungsten Drilling. Both of these methods are very effective at drilling through reinforced concrete. Let’s take a closer look at each of these concrete drilling techniques;
- Diamond Core Drilling – this is an accurate method of drilling through reinforced concrete as well as being fast. It creates only a minimum amount of debris and has a relatively low noise level.
- Tungsten Drilling – drilling concrete using tungsten drilling is a percussive method, which creates a rough edge ideal for resin adhesion when installing dowel bars.
Both of these concrete drilling methods allow our operators to drill through reinforced concrete, creating holes with a wide range of diameters and depths to suit your design and site requirements.
